I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), Bangladesh.
I am also a Graduate Research Assistant and PhD researcher in the Energy Systems Group, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, at Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon, USA. I joined the group in Fall 2021 and am on study leave from JUST for my doctoral studies.
My work brings together power converter design, predictive control and renewable energy. I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology in 2016 and 2019.

A connected vehicle tracking project that brings GPS telemetry to a web dashboard, helping users see vehicle locations and estimate arrival times.

A Muslim lifestyle app designed to bring daily worship tools into one calm, accessible experience, with care for faith, privacy and respectful advertising.

Power electronics for an ultra-efficient hydrogen fuel cell tractor.
Research on advanced traction inverters for Class 8 trucks, including modular SiC hardware, multilevel GaN and current-source topologies. The work examines efficiency, thermal performance and inverter lifetime under realistic driving conditions.

Multiphysics modeling and converter design for harvesting energy from flowing water. This work connects electrical, mechanical and thermal behavior with converter aging and control across multiple timescales.
An optimization framework for placing grid-forming inverters and capacitor banks to improve voltage stability in a weak rural grid, considering both islanded and grid-connected operation.
Model predictive current control for simplified three-level neutral-point-clamped inverters, balancing output current quality, neutral-point voltage and switching losses. Related work examines losses in solar PV inverters.
